is a big variety in Korea's shops and department stores. They will satisfy
even the most ardent shoppers, whether they are looking for traditional
art objects, handicrafts, or state-of-the-art electronic merchandises.
Seoul offers a wide variety of shopping opportunities from department
stores and duty-free shops to arcades, specialized shopping districts,
and outdoor markets. However, Seoul is not the only place to shop. All
major cities have department stores and local markets. Local specialties
are also cheaper in the regional cities. Major department stores open
from 10:30 a.m. and close around 7:30 p.m., whereas markets and smaller
shops tend to open from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
