One of the oldest hotels in Macau, Central, as its name suggests, is located in central Macau, at the the heart of Macu’s Historic Centre - Senado Square. Over 16 of Macau’s historical sites are literally at its doorstep, including the Ruins of St. Paul’s, Lou Ka Mansion and the Holy House of Mercy.

The area is a haven for shopaholics and foodies too, as there are designer boutiques, local brands of clothes and electronics, supermarkets, antique and souvenir shops, street markets, trendy cafes and stalls selling freshly made local goodies like almond cookies, barbecued meats, pork chop buns, bubble tea and Portuguese egg tarts.

The 11-storey building is easy to spot, as it towers over its nearby buildings and has a bright red sign. At one point in time, it was actually the tallest building in Macau.
