Overview - Majestic Hotel Melaka
A totally reconstituted and upgraded 54-room hotel, the Majestic Malacca has just opened its doors. Previously known as the Majestic Hotel, it is YTL Hotel's first classic hotel in the historic city of Melaka.
The Majestic Malacca is located on the banks of the Melaka River. Built in the 1900s as a private mansion, then later converted into a 24-bedroom hotel, it is now a newly invigorated landmark that has been redesigned to integrate old with new, and modern
with historic.
In the new-look Majestic Malacca, teak wood fittings, leather furniture and traditional Portuguese porcelain flooring are enhanced by authentic artwork and antiques, which echo the history of the region, whilst fourposter beds are decorated in a mixture of rich silks and cool cottons. |
