Seremban - Negeri Sembilan
Seremban is the capital of Negeri Sembilan state. It has unique matrilineal cultural legacy. Immigrants from the Minangkabau region of Sumatra settled in the area, and in the 18th century formed a confederacy to protect themselves from the Bugis sultans of Selangor.
The Minangkabau people brought with them a distinctive architectural style of upswept, high-gabled roofs, a style echoed in several modern building in Seremban and throughout the country.
Seremban is densely populated because it has various attractions. It also has lots of entertainment, sports facilities, shopping centres, and cultural and historical locations to keep the visitor entertained. May check out with the Bird Park, Lake Gardens, State Library, Museum and Cultural Art Complex. Many Kuala Lumpur residents enjoy taking the short drive to Seremban for a eating trip because the city has lots to offer in terms of food. |
