Sands
Sands is an alfresco casual all-day dining restaurant offering local and western fare. This beachfront restaurant with ponds and ceiling fans, serves a variety of Malaysian and Western cuisine. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Saffron
This popular Eastern flavouring lives up to its name at this restaurant. This Mediterranean Restaurant is a popular spot any time of the day. Saffron also has an alfresco section with an unencumbered view of Tanjung Rhu's stunning sunsets.
BBQ Dinner on the Beach
Imagine, enjoying a romantic evening with your loved one, sipping champagne while watching the sun slowly setting across the far horizon, as far as the eye can see. The moon and star will then appear subtly to welcome the clear evening sky.
It is then our colleague, your private waiter, begins his task of serving our highly recommended, combination of sumptuous, delicious, mouthwatering and exotic selection of a Private Barbeque Dinner on a stretch of 2.5 km of white sandy beach meant for just the two of you.

Sunset Pool Bar
Our 60- meter fresh- water pool is simply heavenly on hot afternoons located at the northern end of the resort.
JivaRhu Spa
The garden that adorns the spa is a burst of colour and scents from the natural foliage. The spa is also visited by birds (they can be heard chirping all-day-long) - a testament to the fact that it’s a welcome haven for them as well.
At the greeting pavilion, guests are provided a health drink whilst the masseur prepares you for a pampering package. Here, there is also an Ayurveda consultation room where guests can learn more about this famous ancient Eastern healing tradition from a professional Ayurveda consultant.

Pavilion Meeting Room
The Tanjung Rhu Resort's Pavilion Meeting Room is specially designed to suit even the most fastidious of needs in an environment that balances sophistication and the beauty of nature, capable of seating 100 persons in a theatre setup. Equipped state-of-the-art audio and video facilities, the Pavilion Meeting Room is a convenient facility for participants to enhance their meetings and conventions.
Airport Transfer
Guests can choose to be picked up at an additional charge from the Langkawi International Airport - 30 minutes away by car from the Tanjung Rhu Resort. Resort transportation is also available, with the choice of a chauffeured Jaguar limousine or Estima coaster (shuttle van).
Self-Drive
If you're feeling adventurous and want to discover Langkawi on your own, do so in style with our convertible Peugeots. A valid international driving license may or not be required. We drive on the left side of the road, and as some might say, 'the wrong side of the road'.
Babysitting
Babysitting services are available with prior arrangement for children up to the age of 12. Our babysitters are resort employees who are trained and approved to provide this kind of service by the resort management.
Shuttle Service to Town
The distance between the Tanjung Rhu Resort and Kuah is 28 km. By car, this journey will take about 30 minutes. This shuttle service is available for guests at scheduled times daily at a minimal charge.
Watersports
As an eco-based resort, Tanjung Rhu Resort promotes environment-friendly activities in its recreational programs. Non-motorised vehicles such as the hydrobike, sea kayaks, wind surfers and the sleek Catamaran G-Cat are utilised. Windsurfing and sailing lessons are also available.
