The mystical island of Langkawi is home to The Andaman at Datai Bay. Situated between the majestic Mat Cincang Range and the deep blue Andaman Sea, the RESORT has been built in the middle of a virgin tropical rainforest. Centuries old trees, many with huge buttress roots and jungle twines envelope the resort creating a sheltered feeling away from the bustle of city life.

The Andaman features 188 rooms, consisting of 181 deluxe rooms and 7 suites. Deluxe room features a king-size or twin beds, a writing desk, and a spacious bathroom that has a separate bath tub and glass enclosed shower cabin.

Executive suites include a bedroom with en suite bathroom, plus a separate living area with dining setting which opens out to a spacious balcony. The Japanese and Malaysian suites share the same features as Executive suites and are designed in authentic style.

The Presidential suite has an expansive living room with separate dining area plus a pantry area and enjoys a panoramic ocean view. All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning, ceiling fans in-house movies, hair dryers, international direct dial telephone and personal safes.
