If you arrive by flight from Kuala Lumpur or direct ferry from Singapore :

From the airport at Tekek Village, Or Berjaya Beach Resort hire a slow boat "sea bus" or "water taxi " and transfer to Salang Village. The journey is approximately 20 minutes and cost about RM 25.00 per person per trip.

Salang Beach Resort Tioman Island has total of 58 units of Kampong Style Chalet. Each room has its attached bathroom with cold shower.
