Our guide will pick you up at your hotel for a drive to the northern town of Chiang Rai. Along the way, visit the Karen hill-tribe village at Pang Daeng and the hot springs. Continue to Mae Sai, located at the border between Thailand and Myanmar. After lunch at a local restaurant, proceed to the Golden Triangle. Here the countries of Laos, Myanmar and Thailand converge. Visit the small Opium Museum, then proceed to Chiang Saen for a visit of the ancient town and transfer back to your hotel in Chiang Mai.
