HALF-DAY CYCLING TOUR SOUTH OF CHIANG MAI
Get ready for take-off at 08:30 a.m., leaving the hotel for the streets of Chiang Mai. Traffic is light at about that time and we begin our journey south, following the Ping River downstream. The ride is pleasant and green due to the proximity of the river. Our first stop brings us to a setting reminiscent of the early years of the century. Although a former leper colony, riders will find here a heaven of tranquility in woodland surroundings. Cycling over small country roads you will discover the real rural Thailand. At the end we explore the temple ruins of the former capital of Lanna before we cycle back to Chiang Mai. Entering the city will be no problem. Our bicycles are part of the solution! Arrival at the hotel is around 12:30 p.m.
